Went out this morning to a couple local sales looking for nothing in particular and found this hanging in a garage buried behind a couple other things. Only about a third of it was visible and I just about $hit when I uncovered it.....Elevated Half Grill....didn't have a price marked on it and I asked the guy in the garage how much??? $2.00. I couldn't hand him the $$ fast enough...SCORED an early Christmas present......... :o

@Scott Zee - Great eye and score.  Your subject title threw me.  I was expecting a stumbling, drunken estate shopping story (lol).

I'm guessing ... Water and a sponge.  ;) ;)  It appears as if it was never used.

I like the simplicity of the "legs".  Great find, Scott!
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

@pbe gummi bear    I used these SS scrubbies I found at Sams Club. The one on the left is fresh out of the package. Just some elbow grease and a little dish soap did the trick. They're great for removing surface rust and I also use them to get the crusties off my cast iron before a fresh wipe of oil.
