Two Large Ribeyes

A friend furnished us a couple of very nice and large ribeyes.  I did a sear and cooked to medium rare indirectly.  You could cut em with a fork!

No intention to hijack the thread but last week I had some tri tip steaks. Never had tri tip before. Never bought a whole one. The steaks were meant for a dish where we were going to braise them. Instead they were marinated and grilled fast over high heat. They were just at tender as a good ribeye and full of flavor. I called them mini strips and I'll look for them again.
