« on: October 14, 2016, 05:51:38 AM »
I have a co worker that wants me t tske an old whisky barrel of his hands.

Its oak and very well seasoned.

Silly question...

Would this make a good smoke wood???

Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...

Hell yes!  That would make some mighty fine beef.

Heak yeah!  I've used whiskey chips before... amazing aroma ...

I didn't use JD brand, but you get the idea:

Best on beef. I get bourbon barrel wood from the charcoal store for myself. So yes, and yes.
