Meet the new addition to the family...
« on: October 09, 2016, 12:54:11 AM »
I sold my old CopperTop, to make room for... THE NEW CopperTop! Yup. I'm a sick pup. I gots it real bad...

Yup, it's a new Premium series, love what Weber has done , especially with the lid handle heat shield and the leg locks. You will NOT see this bad boy this clean ever again. Ever. Now my new RedHead is jealous...
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

I made an offer on a Copper Performer New In The Box yesterday.  Listed on CL for $300.  I came in a little low but I'm pretty sure the seller would let it go for $250 if anyone is interested-

That's a sweet lookin cooker, man. What did they do to the leg sockets/locks? Got a pic of it?

Thanks!!

They provide a "spring loaded" button snap that snaps into holes in the legs, and holes in the leg sockets. I don't have a pic handy, butt it is a really clever device. Those legs are staying in place until you want to remove them!

There isn't. At least not that I've seen on either my performer or premium kettle.

Strange. I would have assumed there would be some but I believe you @Darko. I like watching them change color

I'll give it a try tomorrow. I'll see If I can get a colour change on the copper.

Hell, it's the least I can do for the WKC membership.
