I always use my kettle when smoking Brisket

I decided to smoke a Brisket Flat yesterday, so I broke out one of my favorite kettles and got to work. The flat was on for 9 hrs. and it turned out GRATE.




Here is a fuzzy picture of the results! It didn't last long enough to get a second shot!

Ha! Very cool, Steve! I'm assuming the UDS got brisket duty, and the obviously the kettle got beer holder duty. Love it.

Hey, is that a homemade shelf on the drum? I built one a few years back too and would love to mount a shelf to it. Looks like you've got a lip on the drum attached for the lid to sit. I think I spy a bottle opener as well. Damn, nice drum dude!Would love to see some more pics of that UDS.
