Driving home from work tonight decided to stop and get a NY strip,  cooked it up on the Smokey Joe. Turned out great!

Looking good!  Gotta love the smokey joe for a quick small cook.  Fired mine up today to cook a few brats for lunch and I think I'm going to fire it up again this even to do a chicken breast or two.

The Smokey Joe is awesome for those kinds of cooks, that's pretty much the reason I got it. The 22" kettle is great but for small cooks like this, just a little bit too much of a grill.

I gotta get me another SJ. I love it for that quick cook. My old Joe got rammed by a riding lawnmower.

Smokey Joes are a lot of fun.  More versatile than I realized.  Nice cook.
