Any thought to have a Regional Forum section to help aid in communication between "local" people? Maybe start with a "Regional" forum and then from there break it down to wherever there are a bunch of members that want to stay in communication (ie Chicago, or even breakdown to states?). Just thinking it might make it easier for "locals" to stay in touch or share deals with out people who are close to each other.

I love that idea.
We tried to make it happen a couple years ago, but there just wasn't enough oomph behind it.
Maybe we can try it again...

If you can set this up, I request an "Ohio" board.  When I started on this board, I don't think there were any others from here but there are several now. I would just like to offer some items I might consider selling to local guys first. I would also like an easy way to try and set up a local get together. Trying to figure out who all is from Ohio has seemed to be quite difficult.

@Troy - You can probably just start a regional category, then each state or area can start a specific thread in that category that people can follow.

@indy82z -  Us AZ kettle heads have text message group so we can alert each other when someone sees a grill on craigslist or offerup.  It works pretty good.  We are spread out a bit and have been able to agent for each other from time to time.

I like that idea, the problem is I am not sure who all is local since most people have to added themselves to the map. I was hoping this section would get people in and then we could do something similar.

What do you say @Troy ? I would be happy with just a general Regional Section and then we can make posts on local areas if wanted.

Thanks

Ok, so lets figure out what some of these subregions are and how many people we'll really have

so for me, my region would be either socal, or LA, or OC?
I think I'd prefer to keep things bigger, just to give people in nebraska a chance to make a friend.
I know we have several socal people, what say you? @Jason @jamesnomore @fedex @lemisfits @Jon
