I found a parts grill in better condition too.  Plus it's grey which I'm guessing is more unique than red.  I have not picked up the parts grill yet so I have time to decide

I can't get the blasted clicker to work.  It works, it pops but doesn't light often.
I'm going to need a new one too....unless the igniter on the parts grill works.   Were you lucky enough to have good burners, grates, and bars with each Genny Jr?

In the Red the burners were great.  I have used the best of the two for the red in RE to flavorbars and grates.

I am having some longer burners fabbed for the Brown.  I will probably freshen that up and eventually sell it next year.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Which one are you keeping?

Here is the side by side of the Red and Brown

@jkolantern

Awesome shot, thanks for sharing. Are the cook grates in decent condition?

I've got quite a bit of work to do on my mine, but in the meantime, it's a very nice cooker.

I'm struggling with mine lighting, also. I think it's succesfully lit with the ignitor twice. Every other time I've had to use a match or lighter. Haven't taken it apart to diagnose it yet, though. Shouldn't be anything too major.

Looking forward to seeing clear pics of that grey hood!! Any idea when you're picking that one up, @AZogas ?

I'll be picking it up at a friend's house sometime next month.  I'll see if I can find pics from the original Craigslist add for now

Wow! Those burners look almost brand new in that pic! And the grates/flavorizers are in excellent shape, too! I'm going to need to go the rcplanebuyer route for flavorizers. It currently has a cook grate that the previous owner welded together. It works for now, but is not ideal. I'm contemplating either rc planebuyer or possibly getting some custom-cut Grill Grates.

I'm not displeased with my brownie hood... would rather have red, I think, and I gotta say, that grey hood is choice. If you ever decide to get rid of it, keep me in mind......

That grey grill is in incredible shape!  I don't drool much over gassers but I'd be trying to figure out a way to put any of those minty Genny Jrs in my quiver.  Only ever seen one or two up here in probably 6 or 7 years of pretty heavy craigslist searches, and never a grey.

Thanks for the brownie pic-that was just what I hoped to see.

Nice!! A Gray Genny Jr.

Wow never knew they made them in brown.  I have only seen red ones before.  What a great find.

They also made them in Black!
