Pulled Pork, Fatties, ABTs and PPB
« on: July 10, 2016, 04:40:39 PM »
Hosted about 60 people at the house yesterday, live band and tons of meat. I missed out on a lot of picture opportunities but still got some good ones. Enjoy.

In total: 10lbs beef, 16 pounds pork shoulder, 6lbs bacon, 6 lbs sausage 48 ABT’s 10 of which had ghost pepper powder inside. Nothing was spared, if it was an animal it was eaten.

Fleetwod 26er ran for 11 hours with both 8 lbs pork butts with a 2/2 snake.

Browny was set up with the Smokenator and both fatties. I liked the smokenator, ran a steady 250 and was easy to maintain. Glad I used it.

Blue Performer was a 2/1 snake and the 10lb chucky cut from a 15lb packer from Costco. Best damn pepper stout beef I’ve ever had.

ABT’s were put onto all 3 grills where there was room in between and around the larger cuts of meats. Once the Chucky was pulled for oven braising I had ample space.

I broke in the Smokenator with from the burger challenge with a pair of fatties.

ABT’s, had to warn the masses which ones had the spice

The 1st 8 lbs of pork butt, I don’t usually wrap but I did to save some time and this time I really enjoyed the results, I did miss the chewy bark but it’s a fair trade.

Pepper Stout Beef was the best I’ve ever had, very satisfied with the results.

The money shot!

Had a few  brews to wash it all down with, this was about ¼ of the beers in the recycler. Great times!

That's what I call a chowdown!

Did you leave one of those ghost peppers out and just waited to see who got it?!

That is a hell of a cookup. Nice job. Did you try every beer?
