Pulled pork for Father's Day weekend
« on: June 18, 2016, 03:16:26 AM »
Sooooooooo... I decided I wanted pulled pork for Father's Day this year. My wife knew that meant a third straight weekend of me sitting in the garage watching the SSP do it's work. [emoji12]

Anyway, got the snake set, and coals heating....

It's gonna be a good day Tater...

Butt in the kettle...
Time to sit back and relax.

Not very often that you have low 80s in June in northeast Florida.

I've read from you guys quite often about the thin blue smoke. That is what I am getting today. Have not seen the butt since she first hit the grate, but I have been watching an amazing show of temp control and thin blue smoke.

Will be popping the cork at the 3 hour mark to probe and take pictures.

Is there anything a Weber kettle can't do?

Quick update... No pictures

Had a harsh rainstorm roll in just as I was wrapping at the stall. Brought the butt in and will finish in the oven, rain is a little rough to be trying to monitor Grill temps.

Pics at the reveal...
