Seems like it should clean up nice. That a gen 2 performer. There a letter stamp on the lid vent that would be able to tell you the exact year.

I like this model a lot, but worth and value come from how much you want it and how often they show up in your area. It seems like it's in the right price range for what most around here would pay.

A Gen.2 w/ gas assist for $75 is a good deal. Looks intact & in grate shape.

If it's calling your name, you should answer that call.
Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

I have that same exact model. Mine was a little cleaner and barely used but I got it for a great price of 100 bucks. 75 is a great deal! Nice find!!
Too many grills and too little time! Looking for a  BLUE GENESIS GASSER! Will pay a bounty!

A Gen2 Performer in good shape for $75 is a really good deal for just about any market.   Check out the underside of the bowl and table to see if there are any significant problems with it.   Also check the charcoal grate and the grill grate to see what kind of shape they are in.   Both are pretty inexpensive, but you still need to factor "fix it" costs in when making the decision to buy.  Might want to check and see if the gas ignition is working.  Not a big deal if it isn't as that too is a relatively cheap fix, possibly even free (but don't tell the seller that).

Used Performers grow on trees here in the Bay Area and $75 is still a good deal

I'd buy it! Looks in pretty good shape, and the price is right.

All great advice.
+1 on this advice.

I like the black frame on the Gen 2 Performer a bit more than I like the silver frame on the Gen 2.
In either case, $75 for a performer that if you take even the most basic care of will probably last you at least 10 years comes to practically nothing.

My favorite over the newer style frame. Looks to be in good shape as others have stated but that top vent handle looks like
it has seen better days!
