Spotted this a moving sale and knew there was a connection with Weber. The seller bought it 15 years ago and had never used the rotisserie, side burner or IR

The specs
Five 12,000 BTU stainless steel tubular burners
620 square inches of primary cooking space with a total area of 832 square inches

60,000 BTU maximum output from the main burners
12,000 BTU cart mounted side burner under a flush mounted cover
10,000 BTU rear mounted infrared rotisserie burner with full rotisserie kit included
5/16 inch diameter rod stainless steel cooking grates
Push-and-Turn piezoelectric igniters on each knob
Complete 304 stainless steel construction
Cover included, propane tank sold separately
Made in China by the Weber-Stephen Products Company

It was really dirty on the inside and the outside had quite a bit of build up making the grill appear black . A few bolts had began to rust causing deposits down the SS .

I started on the inside the SS burner tubes are perfect and all the igniters worked

Large plates cover the burner tubes

The spit and motor have never been used

The rotisserie parts were rusty from being stored under the grill for 15 years , the motor works . I used steel wool and mothers on the roti parts

After removing all the grease and Carbon I could I washed it and then used CLR to remove the water and mineral stains

Sweet Jeebus that's a lot of grill!

How does the IR or whatever that is in the lid get fuel?

Edit: Nevermind, it's not in the lid, but the back. Thought it was a broiler.

HEY where's our gasser broiler? Isn't it time for someone to do that?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Weber made in China

What do you think, compared to the Genesis grills?
Dude, relax your chicken.

Weber owned ... but back then (or perhaps, always, until the end?) the design was probably still from Ducane. Remember, they were a high end competitor so purportedly pretty good.

Made in China for Ducane , Weber owns Ducane.

It's a solid design after 15 years everything works and looks perfect . I see I can get new burner tubes , heat shields and grill grates for about $150.00 and this thing would be brand new.

Actually I read that the design is by Weber , Ducane used to be from Indiana No ? Great grills back in the day , nice of Weber to continue to stock parts for them

Sramsey

After my brother in law was buying " throw away grills" he bought a Ducane on sale and it has held up pretty good.
I gave him my first kettle that i rescued for a case of beer. He likes cooking on it apposed to gas.
