Cooked some chicken legs today with the s n s and they turned out great, this time, i put the legs on the direct side for a couple min. then moved them to the indirect side and when almost done i put bbq  sauce on the last 10 min.

Slide and sear technique. Great way to do bone in chicken.  How you like the sns? Pass through your area every summer heading 70W to my moms in the Ozarks.

I like the sns a lot, I did a small brisket about 3 lbs. a while back and it turned out great, took about 6 hrs.

@TheDude. No worries. Town called Gravois Mills off Rt. 5. She has a motel there called Waters Edge. Beautiful area of the lake. More quite than the main side.

Might have to do some burgers and beers, next time you're down.
