Some recent cooks I've been way too busy to post in detail
« on: January 06, 2016, 09:50:50 PM »

Ham for my middle child's 3rd birthday party we did sliders and other various things. Ham was awesome. Also was my first cook with CoShell.

turned out awesome!

Went to a party and had lots of this. The birthday boy had bought it 30 years prior, it was phenomenal.

I got a sous vide machine. Omg, look at thatits a sous vide Christmas Eve chateaubriand

Umm, amazing

christmas day, rest of the loin, which was Prime. then, chicken lollies
Oh, and I got a care package from my uncle, that taught me how to butcher and smoke, pork bacon and beef brisket bacon. All in all, brisket bacon is the best thing here

Brisket bacon! Now that sounds incredible, man. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that.

What? No. There should be a rule here against posting so much awesomeness in one post!

I want to try sous vide!
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
