Mr Jack Fate, this is the breading recipe I use for this treat. Will bread about 20-25 pieces.

1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp ground cayenne pepper (or less if you can't stand the heat)

Now, as a chili-head, I double the last 5 ingredients in the recipe.

Hot Sauce

1 cup Louisiana hot sauce
1/4 stick melted butter
1/8 cup honey
1/8 cup Rooster
2 TBL Tabasco
2 tsp ground cayenne pepper

Thanks ,but what is 1/8 cup Rooster???

Rooster sauce is Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce.
Picture of a big rooster on each bottle. Very good stuff.

Gee this has gotten quite complicated.
Googled rooster sauce & de Mars Rooster sauce came up. Called all area groceries to no avail. Wife went online to see if there was viable option to this sauce & couldn't find anything.

Ate wings last night old recipe.

Will be on lookout for Sriracha now

Cheers

Follow up

Did this recipe with reduced hot ingredients. As I suspected was needed for our tolerance. Still waaaaaay to hot to enjoy by  me but will say that it is a multiple dimension of heat. So hot freaks enjoy & I do think you will enjoy .
