As a guy who normally isn't all that big on eating soups, I'm thinking that I'm gonna steal this recipe and do this! Nicely done sir! [emoji106]🏻

@Shoestringshop Love living in the ozarks, but miss Chicago like crazy. I can't get a pizza, beef sammich, hot dog or decent Chinese down here.

@TheDude Just to let you know. Portillo's and Gino’s East ship so that would cover ((pizza, beef sammich, hot dog)) as for ((Chinese)) not sure what to tell you :(. Portillo's is almost free shipping and Gino’s East is like 20.00 to ship. Being from Chi-Town you'll know them to pretty well :).

@Shoestringshop I always being home some Potillo's beef and Viana dogs home when I visit my sister. The 1/2 baked pizza doesn't really work. Besides, I'm a thin crust guy. Vito and Nicks FTW.

Wow.  I hadn't seen this thread until now.  It's basically the same way that I make soup but on the stove.  I usually cook my chicken in with the stock and veggies since its always been a stovetop creation.  I'm going to have to try doing it all on the grill.  Love the idea of grilling the veggies!  Saw a previous post from you saying to leave the noodles out when doing a big batch and add them later.  I do the same thing.  I cook my noodles in chicken broth instead of water, then keep them in a seperate container and add to each bowl of soup.  I haven't made my famous chicken soup since I moved to AZ almost a year ago....will definitely be trying your grilled method to see if I can't kick my famous soup up to infamous soup!!!  Thanks for the inspiration and for letting me steal your recipe, I'll share my secret ingredient with you....half a packet of goya ham seasoning (powdered ham stock).
