WGA-gas

Picked up a used WGA gas for tailgating etc.  Never owned one before but figured it would be good for two people to tailgate with and would cool down quickly and would have to worry about hot coal disposal.  However, the one I bought, which was like new condition, seems to have zero control over the flame no matter where the regulator is set.  I assume I will probably just need to buy new regulator.  Setting seems to be low.  Which works, just takes a long time to cook anything.  Any advice?

What is the date code on the vent? It might possibly be still under warranty. I'd give Weber customer service a call and tell them what's going on with it. They might replace the regulator for you.

Did you take it apart and clean out the tube? Its possible its got some crud in there.

Thanks for the tip.  I never thought about taking it apart to see if there is anything that might be contributing to the smaller flame.  I actually bought this grill over two years ago and paid $15.  I've only used it about 5 times.  I will check it out.

 Just checked, I have 2  Wga regulators, part #3643 NIB.  Actually, I have 3, but part of the face of the knob is broken off on the 3rd one.  Are the knobs removable/interchangeable ?
