Just got my new 22 put together this afternoon.  The wife wanted some good ole chicken.  Wanted to keep it simple tonight since I had never cooked on charcoal.  We cooked a whole cut up chicken and my wife wanted her favorite bbq sauce John Boy and Billy sauce.   After it was all said and done my daughter was nawing the bones saying daddy never cook on your old grill again. Lol all in all it was a win and I had forgotten how much better charcoal tastes.  The kettle is so easy and just awesome. Bad thing is now I want a couple more Lol.

Lol.  My kids said the very same thing.  Welcome to the club.

I'm apartment living so space is limited for me.  It helps keep the desire for more grills in check so I only have the one kettle.

Lol it's a good club to be in. Money is tight so that will limit my collection size thankfully

If you can master your kettle it doesn't matter how many or how few kettles you have.
Wanted: 18" Platinum any color will work
This is my Kettle there are many like it but this one is mine......

It's not just a grill, it's a WEBER

"Now I want a couple more." Yep. Been there. Then I found a Jumbo Joe on clearance. Then I realized I needed a smoker, so I got a 14.5 WSM. Then I found an old 18' by the side of the road that only needed a new wheel, new one-touch vents, grates, a cover... and then I realized I need a Performer which Craigslist cheerfully provided.

It doesn't stop. You're doomed. Now I need a red one. And a 26'. And a yellow one. And a SS Performer.
"Of course, when I talk about how much it costs to RRR the old Weber, I don't count the new cover and the upgrade grill grate, right? They were added after the first use, so they don't count.
Now I need a red one."

Yes I hear I will need several different ones now lol

There is no such thing. These days do not exist.

Sounds like a great first cook!
There's a lot of kettles I want too, so let the collection grow, even if slowly, deals will pop up you can't say no to

Still need a 22" yellow
