I was outside doing a brisket, i fired up ol'Red to do a beer can chicken and used the snake method to do the cook, in the drip pan i put water(FYI do NOT drop lit charcoal in the water ::))   The chicken got a rub of EVOO and garlic and herb salt mix.  My setup  was two "C"s and i lit opposite ends and put apple wood chunks all along the chain.  When i was done the right side was almost gone and the left still had some left, the wind came from the left side so i think that is why the right side was almost gone. All in all it came out very tender and moist with a good smoke flavor(very light and just right)
So onto the the pictures, the weather was looking to play apart so i put up my EZ-up (of course it didn't rain, it would of if i hadn't)

The chain worked good, i found that the wind made one side burn faster, but all in all it's great.  Thanks Duke!

Looks like it's head was pushed against the lid. I use my roti ring so I can get acouple birds on there and plenty of head room.
