We made a sour cream and green onion dip to go along with the bacon wrapped potatoes - bite sized fully loaded baked potatoes :)
Stuffed some potatoes with cheddar and made some mushrooms

Tri tip sandwiches with fresh pesto and grilled tomato

You had me at bacon-wrapped potatoes.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Hey thank you !

I used a razor knife and cut into the  Tri -Tip about a 1/4 of an inch and then trimmed the bacon to fit creating a lattice pattern.

@austin87

Yup that's cheddar cheese , I wish I had used the pepper jack like in the mushrooms,  the cheddar was kinda bland, .We used the melon baller on the cheese just like the potatoes , made for a nice clean job  . My grocery store just got these little potatoes they are  from a company up in Edmonton, Alberta. The possibilities for what you can do and stuff into these is mind boggling .

  I roasted the potatoes without the cheese inside for about 40 minutes then added it at the end to melt. For the bacon wrapped ones I used a warming rack to set the bacon prior to grilling so the bacon wouldn't curl off , worked really well

"Meat and Spuds" ... when I first read the title I actually laughed and said "BULLSH!T" out loud to myself. You never do anything plain and simple - and of course its another killer cook involving all sorts of grilled goodness. 8)
