Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
« on: May 06, 2015, 01:47:47 PM »
Started with 2 Flatiron steaks and some veggies

Drizzled EVOO on them and smeared some mashed garlic

Applied Southwestern spice rub to the steaks and the veggies

And onto the grill

Added the veggies

Made black beans salad and grilled some tortilla to go with the meal

And dinner is served :)

Perfect meal on a warm and sunny spring day :)

Looks so good, I love me some Mexican food. You do have some pretty amazing cooks. I have a lot of improvement left.

You make it look easy. Yum!
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Great finished plate up! I haven't done much (really anything) with flat iron but think I need to give it some love. Skirt is one of my favorites and this looks similar as far as a little thicker grain.
