Weber Q Fry Pan
« on: April 01, 2015, 02:19:37 AM »
I thinking of getting one of these . Has anyone tried one yet?
I like the idea of a detachable handle and would be handy for onions and other small sides instead of putting the hot plate on

I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

I use regular handled cast iron and/or sheet steel (lodge) skillets on my grills but a removable handle would be nice.

I dont see a skillet offered on their web site.

Likely the case, yes; the U.S. doesn't see everything Weber offers ...

... but if you're asking for opinions, no, I would't want Teflon anything.

Sweet for awhile until the coating begins to flake off. Which being Teflon, it eventually will. Especially if ANY metal tongs/spatulas touch it. Eating Teflon flakes is a really bad idea.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
