Started off with a whole chicken, cut lemon on the inside, rub with a little olive oil, course ground sea salt, and pepper

Decided to show the '83 some love after being neglected since the faded '85 came back into service

Chicken going on the spit.
Feel kind of stupid though, I've always had the problem with the spices/rub coming off the bird when I season it. When I rub the top it comes off the bottom, when I flip it over to do the bottom, it comes off the top. Then it just occurred to me yesterday, season while it spins! Only took like 6 chickens to figure that one out...

The '83 recently got some newly stained Zavod's. Thanks Brian!

Chicken getting done, dogs getting ready!

Resting and waiting for the wife

We were going to serve it with some salad, but it was late, so we just went with some homemade sauce.

I'm always surprised with how good rotisserie chicken comes out, always moist and tender!
Up next brisket...
Thanks for looking

Wow that looks great! I have a new rotisserie sitting in the box. Every time I do a chicken I say " I'm gonna use it this time " but I always end up doing a beer can chicken. You have now given me a reason to get that sucker out and use it very soon! :)

That looks way juicy.....perhaps I should become one of the "Rotating People"

I'm thinking about a roti. Can't find one used and the price is pretty significant for a new one. But your food looks terrific.

That's some fine looking chicken, I have to leave now as this forum is driving me mad with meat cravings :)
