Smoked Few Butts and Chickens
« on: November 09, 2014, 02:36:07 PM »
I was asked to cook BBQ for a party and I gladly accepted :)
Started with Pork Butts on the smoker and added a couple of Beer Can Chicken and Ribs for the cooking crew.

Added whole chickens

The crew lunch was served shortly after :)

Started getting the pork 12 hours later

The built in thermometers came out clean :)

The chickens were ready too

Pulled the pork after resting. Filled up almost 10 of these containers, but only took pix of few

Pulled the chicken next

Saved few wings for the cook to snack on :)

It was a lot of work, but fun and we all ate well :)

WOW! that all looks great. What type of smoker do you have. Share a pic if you have one.

.... What type of smoker do you have. ...

I think that's a Buick Roadmaster trunk.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
