Finally a cook over charcoal

Well, the weather has been brutal since January. Today it got up to 45 or so. I was able to dig the grill area out somewhat and wouldn't let the sun set today without firing up some coal.


Hasselback taters n a CI skillet and grilled eggplant.

Added some Parmesan towards the end and browned up the taters - these are always a hit in our house.

Flank steak - good winter time choice for protein. Doesn't take long and makes killer fajita wraps.



The 26 chugging along as the sun sets.


Nothing like cooking over a live fire when the ground is covered in snow 😎

Man....gotta hand it to you for trudging thru the snow to get to the cooker....glad you did get the chance !!!
