Basic Breakfast
« on: August 25, 2014, 08:05:24 PM »
I don't own the kettle griddle, so I improvised with a Weber Q griddle and a Char-Broil (a four letter word around these parts) rectangular griddle. I made chocolate chip pancakes with fried eggs and of course , bacon.

The Chief fits the griddles nicely.

The cook

I need go invest in some egg rings.

Chow time

Thanks for looking.

I've seen those trays in the shops before so having seen this I feel an investment in them is not too far away.

Lovely looking tucker!

Are those "Gratuitous" chocolate chips in the pancakes or is it something that you had to have? Lol..
Nice cook, I am sure the Weber didn't mind using a charbroil griddle.. I am sure they make a nice griddle.. I mean, no one can make a Kettle as good as Weber, so they might as well make a nice griddle..
Lol.. 8)

I love plain pancakes but I also love lots of gooey chocolate chips in them too. They tasted like giant breakfast cookies drowned in syrup. And having cooked them on a Chocolate Brownie kettle... Seemed appropriate. ;)

Nice post. I sure do love the room on my Chief. I need to break out the cast iron and cook a breakfast before winter hits.
