Basic Breakfast

I don't own the kettle griddle, so I improvised with a Weber Q griddle and a Char-Broil (a four letter word around these parts) rectangular griddle. I made chocolate chip pancakes with fried eggs and of course , bacon.

The Chief fits the griddles nicely.

Breakfast on the kettle is becoming one of my favorite cooks. Have yet to do pancakes. Yours look great. I think I am going to give them a shot now.

Are those "Gratuitous" chocolate chips in the pancakes or is it something that you had to have? Lol..
Nice cook, I am sure the Weber didn't mind using a charbroil griddle.. I am sure they make a nice griddle.. I mean, no one can make a Kettle as good as Weber, so they might as well make a nice griddle..

I love plain pancakes but I also love lots of gooey chocolate chips in them too. They tasted like giant breakfast cookies drowned in syrup. And having cooked them on a Chocolate Brownie kettle... Seemed appropriate.

Nice post. I sure do love the room on my Chief. I need to break out the cast iron and cook a breakfast before winter hits.
