I'm looking for opinions on the best commercially produced rub primarily for ribs. I realize I could mix up my own but I just want something simple, and consistent. Thanks!

Famous Dave's makes some really good products.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Depends on what flavors you like.

If you like a bit of sweet, big poppas sweet money. Or simply marvelous sweet seduction.

If you want less sweet, big poppas "money"
Simply marvelous pecan or cherry rub

Simply marvelous sweet and spicy is fantastic too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I came across a McCormick slow and low Memphis pit rub I am going to try. I would love some more first hand suggestions.

Fiery Ron's Hometeam BBQ in Charleston,  SC. Has great rub. I put it on my chicken wings and in my apple pie baked beans.

Plowboy's Yard Bird is great on most anything...chicken, ribs, pork butt, corn on the cob, etc...  Some find it a little salty, so you might go easy your first try.  It's the only commercial rub that I've bought more than one big shaker of.  I'm also becoming a fan of Bone Suckin' Sauce Hot Rub...their regular rub is good to, but I prefer a little more spice.

Penzey's Spices has a rub called 'Barbeque of the Americas' that is excellent on ribs.  Good amount of salt, great balance of flavors, nice amount of heat without being overpowering.
One of the charcoal people.

I like butt rub on ribs.  I always go back to that one time and time again.

My two favorite are Bad Byron's Butt Rubb and Dizzy Pig Dizzy Dust. My standard treatment of a BB is a heavy coat of Bad Byron's followed by a medium coat of Dizzy Dust followed by a light sprinkle of Sazon'.   Ribs: I like just a light dusting of Bad Byrons and a light dusting of Dizzy Dust.
