I believe Americans refer to Pickerel as Walleye.

These were from Lake Nipissing .. 3 hours north of me.

Just a little coating of EVOO and S & P.  A full mini chimney of KBB.
Intakes fully open. Preheat, then went on indirect.  25 minutes - done.  Fall apart, flakey deliciousness!

I love perving my redhead.  8)

Nice cook! I love freshwater fish but it's been years since I've gotten to have it. Thanks for sharing. :D

That looks absolutely delicious. I love Lake Erie pickerel or perch, and now you have started an irresistible craving for me to have some.
Have never tried fish on the Weber. I am just a little scared of having a "fishy" smell and/or taste that stays with the kettle.

That's the great thing about cooking fish on a Weber outside, no fishy smell inside.

Nothing is going to stay int he Kettle.. if anything ever lingers, its the smoky smell of using wood.

Mmmmm.....walleye.  Baked, grilled, or fried, its always good.  Those look fantastic.

I do fish once in a while and have noticed no fishy smell subsequently....read about it on boards but never experienced it.  I think that happens when you do fish all the time.

Beauty cookup there MacEggs...it is the wife who really likes fish but yours makes me want to give it a try.

A rice mixture that we found buried at the back of the pantry.
The other is sautéed onion with chopped kale mixed in.  Very good ... and healthy.  :D 8) ;) ;)
