Finally made my first fattie. been wanting to cook one for the last three months.
Well just for fun I used my Cook N Kettle bowl and the WSM. What would you call this.
Cooking Kettle Mountain? Franken Weber Cooker?
I did not realized this heavy cast iron bowl gets really hot. Put 10 lit charcoal on the ring the temp on the Maverick grate kept climbing. After 400 degrees I had to take out about 25 lit coals to bring it down to 350.
The SWMBO liked it so much she wants to make an embutido wrapped in bacon weave.

Used a cookie press for the filling. Still need to make a fattile piston.

Sprinkled Sweet Rub O Mine on the Italian Sausage

Here's the strange cooker

Thought it was burnt. Just cooked right with the crispy bacon weave.

Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

Thank you all for the very nice comments. This was a very easy and fun cook to make. Very delicious. One day I will make a Take NO Prisoners fattie. The first TNP fattie I ate brought by Winz at the WKC West Coast meet. That was very tasty and well balanced.
