Been quite some time since the XC and I have posted, but as my dad used to say, life is what happens while we make other plans. We have missed being here. I decided a while back that I needed to refocus my attention to my career and creating more opportunities for the future of my family, which has played out very well. The XC has been focusing her attention to school and concentrating on classical cooking methods to follow her dream of being a professonal chef like my grandfather was. As everything has panned out as planned (for a change) this weeken was the first weekend that we had time as a family to relax and enjoy each others company. The XC wanted to make smething special for me all by herself so here it is.

Ingredients....olive oil, red bell pepper, garlic (lots of garlic-I think she is afraid of vampires), sage, flat leaf parsley, lemon zest & white wine

the XC zesting the lemon on the bell pepper and the garlic...

the clams and the white wine added just before she added some chicken and apple sausage & put the lid on...

after 10 minutes the clams opened perfectly...notice the charcoal on her nose! a true WeberHead  ;)

Me and the XC. I am truly blessed. It's a good thing she has the looks and the brains of my lovely bride!!

Thanks for looking! Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy to see you both again. Great looking cook. Keep up the good work, and check in when you can - we'll be here.

Glad to see you both back on, love to see your cooks! Digging the brick red performer too, I love mine.
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.
