Brian, I am really late to the party here, but two things:

1) That piece of crap was not worth close to 35 bucks, you loser!

2) It is freaking awesome!

Mini update.....I got the bottom all cleaned up,  here you can see the bolts I added to strengthen the legs.  Not too bad considering the way they were when I started.  They are rock solid now.

I didn't need to do anything to one of the sockets, it was solid....

I cleaned up the wheels.  They are in remarkable shape considering most of the wheels of this style seem to disintegrate pretty easily.  I sprayed armorall on them.  I'll Figure out a way to put the white wall back on there...

More pictures tomorrow...

Let me know if you come up with a way to replace the white walls on the tires. I need to do it to one of mine.
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

Nice job Brian, that's a good way to fix sockets. It looks like it's coming along nicely. I'm glad you didn't have to remove those bottom vents like I did. I got an old one recently where the vents were just caked with grease. They were just left open all the time and just filled up. It was gross!

I never sleep.. I only wish I had more time to spend in my hammock..

Can't you just pour a little white paint int he groove and swirl it around?
Or, here's a thought, get a paint brush..
Or, some white pinstripe tape, nah, too much work..
I'm still going with paint. Maybe yellow in this case.
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..
