Damn good cook there Ken! I'm making some meatloaf on Friday.
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

Buckie when you come back it's with a vengeance! That is a terrific cook! What are the bricks on the top grate doing?  Is that for a heat sink type of thing?

Not actually 'back' as this is an older cook, just thought I'd put it in for info's sake.......

i saw Thunder's start on a meatoaf thing & it reminded me of that one !!!

The firebricks are just propping up the flip ups so chips can be added in quickly w/o having to fiddle around lifting them each time a handful of hickory chips are dropped............leaves just enough room for those personal-sized meatloafs in between............ ;D

That was a fun cook......the wife's general recipe, flung together very quickly to  put in & break the tie in the "Bacon Throwdown" @ The 'Ring.....I actually won one, but there was some confusion as to when the original vote was supposed to end.......maybe I came in a close second......but stomped on the run-off...... 8)
