We had one of those when I was a kid. I don't recall getting a lot of use out of it.

so this got me to thinking about childhood BBQ's and the one that sticks out in my mind was this god offal thing that used newspaper for fuel. nasty

Omg when I was 21 I had this girlfriend that bought one of those for me for the bachelor pad. Damn I had forgotten about that. We'd cook lamb chops and steak as rare as we could. If anything it was hot as hell.
