I found a rotisserie ring with the rod, handle, weight, etc. but no motor. Will any rotisserie motor work on it or would I have to buy a Weber motor?

I should add I already have a rotisserie for my Gasser so if the motor works that would be awesome.

I have a US roti ring and have been able to use 2 different local motors (one is a perfect fit, the other required a bit of work) with it, so I would think you should be ok.

I'm pretty sure my gas and charcoal roti motors are identical. Not positive though...
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

So what would be a fair price for a used ring in decent shape?

With everything but no motor? $50 or so I'd pay for it. New and complete they went for around $100-$140.

It should work, try it. If it fits, its good to go. The motor itself doesnt matter as much as the dimension of the square hole for the spit rod, and the mounting options, which you could always alter the ring or the motor to fit.

I paid $35.00 for a 1 year old Weber Ring, Motor and Skewer.  Original CL price was $50.00.

Without a motor,  I would offer $10 - $20.  Not to useful to most people.
