Did I get sold a fake WSM?

Just picked up a used "WSM" but saw some warning signs on pickup - there was no Weber branding on the unit, no date code I could see on the vents, and I became worried.

Is there anything I can do to verify it's really a Weber before calling the guy and asking for my money back?

That's a real one - early model.  Look closer for a two letter code on the top vent wheel.... may be hard to see.  I found a DZ model some time back that looks just like it.  Mine is missing the knob on the door though.
