Can someone teach me how to ad pictures?
I thought I new how, but it isn't working out.

It has been so long since my last post I couldn't remember how to do it!

Last week I saw a FB Marketplace ad for a Summit Kamado. It was assembled but never used. I had never really considered buying one before but I thought about it for a minute. I even messaged back and forth with the seller with a few questions.
Fast forward one week. I got a notification that the price had dropped, and in a moment of weakness I came home with this!

I ran a cleanup burn yesterday afternoon, and grilled ribeye steaks last night. So far so good!

Congratulations!  You'll love it - mine is definitely my most used cooker.

Pictures..... I post in the website.  Works best for me in Chrome using the preview bar in the bottom of the posts.

Thanks, I used to be able to post pics easily from the mobile site, but I guess that isn't happening now.

I am totally jealous. I have been looking for a good deal on one for a while now.
I picked up a PK360 used about a year ago and I am trying to sell that and then maybe I will get lucky and find a decent Ranch kettle or a kamado.

jcnaz,

First, do not use quick reply.
If you are on a PC make sure the pic you want is in your pictures folder.
Then click on the little blue Reply box at the bottom of the screen.
Then start typing a message.
When you are ready to insert a pic click on the little square blue icon next to the YouTube icon above the reply box.
Then below the reply box it says click or drag files here to attach them.
I had to click there which brought up my pictures folder where I highlighted the file I wanted and it attached it like the example I'm attaching.
It posts a clickable thumbnail.

It's an amazing unit!
And... I don't need to see a pic of it...

However, I do want to see a group photo of all of your black beauties together with the new Summit!  8)

I will do a new group picture soon, but I need to figure out the new picture process first.

I will have to try from a PC, will have to figure out putting pics in the folder.
Is there no longer a way to do it right from the phone?

Using Chrome on my iPhone..... Do a quick reply, type what you want to say, hit PREVIEW button, hit Send anyway, scroll down to "Click or drag files here to attach them." go to photo library and select a photo(s), click add, click POST, click SEND ANYWAY.  This works for me... BUT sometimes my photos are too big and cause an error.

Best way I've found is....

I have Google backup for all my photos, so they go from my phone to Google drive automatically.  On my desktop/laptop I make a folder for a topic - such as "Labor Day 2025 Cooks".  Then I go to Google and open photos I want to add to the folder, right click and save to the folder.  Then I open the WKC website in Chrome, make a topic and fill in what I want to post in the body.  At the bottom there is a bar that says "click or drag files here to attach them".  Saving my photos from Google downsizes the file sizes so I can always attach 9 pictures if I want which is the limit.  Hoping this helps... I know it sounds like a lot, but is pretty quick once you get some practice.

Let's see if this works from my antique MacBook....

You could try Tapatalk on the cellphone, but that's a real PITA.  It's not very user friendly, and you have to fight through a series of ads before you can finally post anything.

Congrats! It is my most used cooker. I have the original Summit Charcoal grilling center from when they were first released.  I bought the Kamado to place in a custom built-in surround but can't bring myself to sell my grilling center. Haha.
