No issues experienced and didn't use any fiber washers.  I did use the standard Weber nut on the bottom side which gives a bit more support IMO.

I love my 26 and I am sure you will love yours. I picked up a slow n sear xl a while back, but I think I need to convert my baskets like that.

I would love to pick up a spinning grate, but I think you should definitely also pick up a raised half rack as well. Though the 26 is big, once I split to two zones, I always need a bit more room. 4 pork chops and 6 ears of corn takes up space.

Yes it's funny how it still fills up pretty quickly! Good shout, I have a raised half rack in the shed somewhere!
