Anyone have an Ooni pizza oven? I'm looking to pull the trigger on a Koda 16. I've got a KettlePizza, and it does great work, but I wouldn't mind having the convenience of propane, if it can make a good pie. The thing is supposed to reach 900F and turn out nice neopolitan-style pizza in about 90 seconds.

I've always eyed them, but I have a PizzaQue gas and a BakerStone so I have no room for another

Slick unit but personally the price seems high. I would have to make a lot of pies to recoup on that investment.

I'm thinking it would be useful for more than pizzas. I'm thinking breads, sourdough buns, flatbreads, as well as anything that might need to go into a high-heat broiler.
I've also got some ideas for using cast iron in conjunction with it. For example I've got two oval-shaped, fajita-type cast iron skillets -- I can see using those for sizzling fajita ingredients.
As for the cost, I get a pretty decent discount because I work for one of the retail chains that sells them.

Excellent, didn't think about other high heat cooks but I'll bet it would be great for the breads. Discounts are a great thing!  You'll have to post some pics if you pull the trigger

I have the Koda. And I love it.
For any OONI you need a turning peel then you'll be happy!
I'm happy with the Koda so I'll not switch to the new 16 in the near future.

I ooni wish that Weber would re-release the Weber Pizza Oven #6520, in the U.S.  ...I hope Weber U.S.A. is reading this!

I have a 22 inch kettle which I love and successfully cook great food on of all descriptions, except pizzas they were always good enough but not amazing.
Having recently been bought an ooni as a surprise for a significant birthday (like others have said they seem like a lot of cash which I couldn't justify) my summary is they're worth every penny and create a pizza far superior to my kettle without even trying that hard. As good as any I have had in Italy. Your never going to win a knife fight if you turn up with a wooden spoon!

Sorry this might be old but I have the Oon1 3 that I added a propane attachment, it works amazing.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.
