Those who know me know that I really love the blue and green kettles.  When a friend and forum member acquired this from another forum member and decided to move it, I couldn't pass it up!  I was finally able to get ahold of it this past weekend and got it all cleaned up and set up at its new home.  It was missing the ignitor top but after studying the manual and parts guide, a little rewiring and use of tin snips, I was able to jury rig a new top and get it working again.  I'm going to have another go at it after getting pictures of the actual ignitor top.

You don't see gas kettles pop up often, especially in blue and I am beyond excited to get this thing cooking again!

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Is it bad that I wrote that knowing it might have that reaction?   Seriously though, it's a beautiful kettle and I enjoy Chicago-St Louis sporting rivalries.

Nope!  Not at all!  Any other reaction would have been fair-weather!  It is a great rivalry and a great grill too!

Cooked on it tonight!  Very simple cook of brats and hot dogs.  I miss the charcoal flavor but boy is this thing going to be great!  It gets HOT!  Going to be great next to the performer for searing and I am also envisioning using the GBS wok with it and breakfasts as well!

Awesome!  Never seen a blue gasser.  There's been a flash of nice blue kettles on Craigslist over the past month or so.  I'm starting get that "need".
