It was like Christmas morning as a kid. Soon as a I got off work I went right back to work putting it together. I've never put together a newer model Weber, I've really only dealt with older secondary market finds. Had some difficulty getting the legs in The sockets with the extra metal piece that's supposed to go in The socket first. Otherwise it was a good build and looks awesome. It's dark and rainy here in stl so it's gonna stay in the living room for the night. Can't wait to fire it up outside tomorrow and see how the color looks when the sunlight hits it.

Put it together in my living room last night and kept it there overnight bc it was raining. I almost slept on the couch to stay with it lol but I'll take it outside today

Dammit. Box looked good, but the lid had this unacceptable ding.

Ouch! I'm sure they'll take care of that but man what a hassle. Makes you wonder how that could even happen too

Now you've got a lid for your 26" pizza kettle!

Kept it easy for the first cook. Brats and Italian sausages. Super weird cooking on a sparkling new grill with no ash or dirt or anything. This thing will soon become my workhorse though
