Craigslist restore, but what model ?
« on: April 23, 2020, 03:52:42 AM »
Hey guys,

Picked this up on Craigslist for cheap and did a restore of bowl and table using the guides on the site.  It’s a “DT” 2003 I believe and I thought this was a Performer, but dated don’t match up.  Any idea what it’s actually called?  Was going to get the 8701W cover for pre-2004 Performers, but not certain that’s what it is.

Awesome.  Thanks so much!  I’ll see if I can track down a cover for it.

Great job on the clean up!
You’ll get lots of great cooks out of that one, congratulations

Thanks!  I think it turned out pretty good.  It was in bad shape.  Just had to get some new hardware for the bolts for the brackets and hubs.  I’m thinking I might replace the wheels to get the whitewalls back and add the 65188 lid bale that opens fully.  If I can find a cover for it, turn it into a dedicated rotisserie station.  It’s a short setup.

Looks like you made a good score.  If memory serves, that configuration should have stainless steel sweeps.
