SSP with a face lift
« on: August 19, 2019, 06:05:26 PM »
I think I like it! Wasn't sure after the mock up put putting holes in things make them love or hate and I will go with love.

This was my smoker kettle but I didn't like not being able to see that CB green more often. I swapped on a brick red onto the smoking rig and am going to use this one for stir-fry, kabobs, and other GBS accessories.

Cool set up, with the Gen1/Gen2 mash-up!  Love the CB green on there!  Let's see the brick red smoking rig!

All that stainless! Nice work
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

That's how the Gen 2 should have looked to begin with.  Nice work.

You cut off the handle parts of the frame? Looks really good!

Very nicely done
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

This was a purchase made while drinking, not a bad one just done under the influence and too much excitement about a $20 SSP.

Had to get someone to drive me, the guy helped me move it to the jeep. Despite me carrying the kettle side I didn't notice the GIANT dent in the lid. (about the size of my head) Unloaded it at home and noticed it didn't have the charcoal bin or control panel. Then tried to move it and about fell over cause of the missing handle (and alcohol).

The frame itself is in good shape and the chopped handles allows me to use the larger lid bale and the proper cover together.

Still a great $20 purchase.

Here is my brick red smoker. Putting it to work on a pork butt and a chuck roast this weekend.
