Your not worried about any weird gasses or anything coming off the jjbweld when you cook? Not trying to bring your fix down, just curious. It cost me 20 to get some leg sockets welded.

I think that I read somewhere that it was non-toxic, but I would certainly do my research before using anything like jbweld or similar product.  I get going this route as it probably cost about 5 bucks and not everyone has a friend/relative who will do a small weld job like this.
ISO: 18" & 22" Lime, 22" Cado, Plum SSP, Clean & Colored 18" for Midget Mod, and the usual Grails.

On the package it says "Drinking water safe" so I think it's ok.

Unless you get your drinking water from Flint Michigan LOL
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I hear ya, once you get a good ash/grease coating it should insulate it too. Maybe do a dry run first just in case? I'm sure I've ate worse anyway lol

@JEBIV I don't trust the tap water anywhere!
