Mystery pieces on the leg

Picked up a B code had these on one of the legs. Anyone know what they are?
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

Those are to ground your kettle in case of lightning strikes. :o

In reality, those indicate it once had a sidekick table on it.  I believe the weber part number was 1800.  There was a portion that extended from the frame, that the little wood table sat on, down to the leg & I believe that bracket held that portion from the frame and attached it to the leg of the grill.

Yep! That’s a bracket for a sidekick. My WW has one on its leg as well.
