Woodard cart for $35 with grate agent assistance
« on: March 20, 2019, 04:06:47 PM »
Some amazing agenting work out of KC! Big ups on this one.

Guy was a bit dodgey and wouldn't give up a cell so I had to quarterback through letgo. So I got my friend J to meet "Tony Tha Truck" in the back of a parking lot and buy a grill out of the back of a 17ft box truck...

$35 for a 90s black 18 doesn't seem smart but look close! Here are the pics from letgo.

Would appear to be sitting in a Woodard cart[emoji848].  If so, that’s a sweet score!!!  More than worthy of risking your agent’s safety [emoji23]

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

NICE!  I saw that, but didn't notice the cart with all the garbage on it.

Hal

Great score!  Love the story!  It pays to dig into the photos a little deeper sometimes.

If memory serves, the first photo was a screen shot of a brand new performer with price, etc. from Home Depot or somewhere.  When I saw the second pic, I saw an 18" kettle with a handle laying on something with a bunch of stuff on it.  I thought who is this guy trying to BS and completely failed to notice the cart.

Really nice score.

Grate score
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Pickup up half a patio set for 40 off Craigslist. 2 chairs and 2 end tables. I will  resurface them when I take on the Woodard cart. The wife was actually very pleased with the potential in all of them together.

Your on fire right now with your Woodard acquisitions.  Congratulations.  In case you haven't seen it, here is a thread 56MPG started to keep track of Woodard scores:

Last time I ALMOST got such a good deal, I had to hightail it outa there because the dog started barking & the lights started coming on in the house.
