Gen 1 Coppermist MT
« on: December 25, 2018, 08:56:43 AM »
First off I’d like to extend a Merry Christmas to everyone here at WKC.

I was given the appetizer detail for Xmas eve dinner at my sisters.  My plan for my first cook on the brownie was to make “turds” in @1buckie honor for supplying me with the brown MT.  So cooking apps on the MT on Christmas Eve seemed to be the perfect combination.

I’ve been doing a little work on the brown MT. I didn’t get into a deep cleaning and polishing yet. For now I added the new sweeps, cleaned the inside and outside just enough to get my first cook out of it.

My plan was to take a group photo for Christmas in the snowy landscape, but as you can see, we have no snow.  So I am waiting for a decent amount of snow to gather the grills up for a family MT photo.

I put on some cedar Zav handles for the holidays, but will put the originals back on after refinishing.

Congrats Dennis, I’d leave those handles in place, she is worthy of them.

Looks great Dennis!  The snow will be here shortly.  8 to 12 inches up here on Thursday. Winter was fun, until now.  Luckily, I have over 500 pounds of fire wood in the back of my truck, waiting to go to the cabin.

@Grillagin  fortunately, it sound like it's going to be mostly a rain event in Appleton.
