I place the grill grate from an 18” kettle on top.  The hanging rack goes all the way to the top of the dome so you can’t close it with something on top.

What rub did you use?
What probe are you using in that cook?

@Babekyu thanks much. The rub was Chupacabra 2 Gringos AP. I used yellow mustard as binder on bottom and then used honey mustard on fat cap.

The probe was Meater 2 Plus…scored by an awesome WKC Secret Santa this year!

Daughter made some homemade sauces, she’s taking the butt to mid-week church dinner.

Looks like you had a couple grills tipped over. Hope you didn't have any other damage. Flooding and storm damage looks bad around Houston. How close are you?
