I love bone in chicken thighs on the kettle....repeatably easy and awesome.  It is pretty much a weekly meal right now.

And yes I know the word is misspelled...too lazy to change it.

I too love thighs, so easy and tasty
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I went my entire life--until my mid-thirties--hating chicken. After I got into grilling I sucked it up and tried chicken thighs. Suddenly, I found myself enjoying chicken!

Whoa, that's a bold statement. What about deep fried or skillet fried?

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Same here; every now and then when leg quarters are on sale for $.29 a pound I will debone and devein a few to deep fry for sandwiches.

There is a Soul Food restaurant in the Chicago area that makes a wonderful baked thigh that I really enjoy, but other than them, most restaurants and people are unable to get them completely done without drying them out.

I'll agree here that thighs on the kettle are the best.

Do you marinade, brine, or put a rub on them?

I have been on a marinade kick as of late.   McCormick's Grill Mates Garlic Herb Wine or teriyaki, or Moore's original. All have worked well.

Stubbs chicken marinade is good. Sometimes I mix it with Italian dressing too.

MacAuthur's on Madison, just past Central on the West Side of Chicago.  I'm from the South Side so it MUST be good for me to vouch for it!
