I bought my smoker used and it included a door and latch. How do I adjust the latch so I don't have to beat on it to open? Is it in the instructions?You can adjust the position of the latch on how tight it makes contact with the smoker. I can’t remember if you have to remove it from the door or not to adjust. It should be fairly self explanatory if you get it clean enough. The spring tension in the latch itself is not adjustable.
