First 26er
« on: March 31, 2018, 04:37:31 PM »
My first 26er. DE code 2009. Picked it up. thing is massive. Never been up close and personal. Great deal I couldn't pass up. Arrived and said to myself "really" good thing I brought a truck. Lol

Yay or nay on the 26ers?

I do not have a 26, but all I hear is once you go 26, there’s no going back!   I’m eyeing a NIB that’s on a local CL for $225.

Any 26er is a force to be reckoned with. Mine don’t get used much but I wouldn’t be without one. You’ll find some folks here use them more than 22’s.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I absolutely love my 26."it is my go to machine. Use it every weekend to cook enough meat to last through most of the week.  Hated the taco at first but have found it makes for a perfect cigar rest

A 26 is a whole meal cooker and excellent smoker. It does it all. Still my favorite.

I've got 2 newer 26'ers. My absolute favorite grill...hands down.

It's time for you to start cooking on it so you can see! You are going to love it!
